Ⅰ. Registration Questions

 Q：What is the schedule and location for registration at each day?

A：

Lingao - Danzhou Road Race Qualifier

Q：Can I register and collect the race pack for a friend?

A：Yes, but you must bring the participant's valid ID and other required registration materials.

Registration Process:

• Verify participant identity (Requires ID card, passport, or other valid documents)

• Check the insurance

• Collect race number bibs, number plates, and timing chips (and pay the deposit)

• Collect race packs

• Finish the registration

Q：How do participants register for multi - day races?

A：1. For the three-day races, participants will register in Lingao and receive all race items.

2. For the two-day race, participants will register the day before the first race, either in Lingao or Yangpu.

Ⅱ. Race Questions

Q：When will the group start lists be published?

A：The start list for each race will be published one week before the race.

Q：What is the start format for the races?

A：The road race will start in groups based on the participants' age. In the individual time trial, riders will start at intervals of 30 seconds. The specific start order will be announced one week before the race.

Q：Is the technical meeting on Dec 11th at 16:00 mandatory? How to attend?

A：Yes. It will be held in the form of an online live broadcast. The broadcast link will be published through official online platforms. Please pay attention to platform notifications.

Q：Will there be a bicycle check before the race?

A：Yes. The commissaire will inspect the participants' bicycles during the sign-in according to the UCI rules.

Q：Is there a time limit for the race?

A：Yes. Specific time limit will be published in the Race Specific Regulations before the race.

Q：How can I check the results? Will finishers receive a medal and a certificate?

A：Race results can be checked after the event through the official website and WeChat mini-program.

Finisher medals can be collected at the finish. Finisher certificates can be obtained through the official website and WeChat mini-program.

Q：Is a UCI license required to participate in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series Hainan and, for those who qualify, the 2026 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships? 

A：

1. Participating in the UCI Gran Fondo World Series Hainan Station does NOT require a license.

2. Participating in the 2026 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships DOES require a license. The Organizing Committee will assist qualified riders in applying for the 2026 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships license.

Ⅲ. Days & 3 Nights Hotel Package Questions

Q:What are the check-in and check-out times for the 4 Days 3 Nights hotel package?

A:

1. Stay Dates: Check-in Dec 11 (1st night), Dec 12 (2nd night), Dec 13 (3rd night).

2. Check-in Time: After 14:00 on the check-in date.

3. Check-out Time: Before 12:00 the following day; participants and accompanying personnel can enjoy a free late check-out until 14:00 on the same day.

Q:Which hotels are included in the 4 Days 3 Nights hotel package for each stage?

A:

1. Lingao Stage: Hainan Country Garden Golden Beach Spring Hot Hotel, Ji Hotel, Vienna International Hotel.

2. Danzhou Stage: Yangpu Guest House, Hilton Garden Inn Danzhou Yangpu.

3. Wuzhishan Stage: Wuzhishan Qingneng Lijing Bay Hotel, Pearl River Crystal Hotel, Central Hotel.

Note: Hotel assignments are random from the above list.

Q: Can I request a specific hotel within the package?

A: Yes. Please note your preferred hotel name when booking. The event organizer will prioritize your request and inform you in advance if it cannot be accommodated.

Q: If fellow participants book individual sharing-room packages separately, can we be arranged to stay together?

A: Yes. When booking, please note the name, gender, and mobile number of the person you wish to share with. The event organizer will prioritize your request and inform you in advance if it cannot be accommodated.

Q: For group participants booking hotel packages, can we be arranged in the same hotel?

A: Yes. Please note this requirement when booking or contact customer service. The event organizer will prioritize your request and inform you in advance if it cannot be accommodated.

Q: If the existing hotel packages do not meet my needs and I need to book extra accommodation, how can I inquire and book?

Q: How is accommodation arranged for participants in the 4 Days 3 Nights package who are racing on Dec 12 and Dec 14, and how is the transfer between stages handled?

A: Two set of accommodation and transfer arrangements are provided, as follows:

Arrangement One:

Accommodation: Check-in in Lingao on Dec 11, check-in in Wuzhishan on Dec 12 & 13.

Transfer: After the race on Dec 12, unified transfer for personnel, luggage, and bicycles from Yangpu Binhai Cultural Plaza, Danzhou (finish line) to Wuzhishan.

Arrangement Two:

Accommodation: Check-in in Lingao on Dec 11, check-in in Danzhou Yangpu on Dec 12, check-in in Wuzhishan on Dec 13.

Transfer: After the race in Danzhou Yangpu on Dec 13, unified transfer for personnel, luggage, and bicycles to Wuzhishan.

Q: Is there official shuttle service between the hotels and the race start/finish areas?

A: No. Participants need to arrange their own transportation to and from start/finish areas.

Ⅳ. Luggage & Transfer Related Questions

Q: If I didn't book the hotel package, can I still use the free luggage transfer service from Lingao to Danzhou Yangpu?

A: Yes.

Q: How should luggage be handled for the transfer from Lingao to Danzhou Yangpu on Dec 12?

A:

1. For participants staying at official event hotels: Hand your luggage to the staff when checking out. Upon arrival in Danzhou, go to your designated official hotel and collect your luggage by using your luggage tag.

2. For participants NOT staying at official event hotels: First, take your luggage to the luggage transfer point at the race start in Lingao (Wenlan Cultural Park). After arriving at the race finish in Danzhou (Yangpu Binhai Cultural Plaza), collect your luggage by using your luggage tag.

Q: Do bicycles need to be disassembled for the event-organized transfer?

A: No disassembly required.

Q: Should I fly into Haikou Meilan International Airport or Sanya Phoenix International Airport?

A:

1. Participants racing on Dec 12 and/or Dec 13 are advised to prioritize Haikou Meilan International Airport. The airport is about 85 km from the Lingao race area and about 150 km from the Danzhou Yangpu race area.

2. Participants racing on Dec 14 are advised to prioritize Sanya Phoenix International Airport. The airport is about 120 km from the Wuzhishan race area.

Q: Is transportation arranged for participants and accompanying personnel returning from Wuzhishan to Haikou or Sanya?

A: Participants requiring return transportation need to book the return service via the official website or the mini-program. Specific arrangements are as follows:

1. Personnel & Luggage Transport: Luggage should first be stored in the designated luggage area at the hotel and will be uniformly transported by the event organizer to the race finish(Wuzhishan Sanyue-San Square). After the race, personnel, luggage, and bicycles will gather at the race finish(Wuzhishan Sanyue-San Square) for unified transport. Luggage travels on the same coach.

2. Schedule & Stops: Two scheduled departures on Dec 14 (planned): 15:30, 17:30.

Haikou: Haikou Meilan International Airport, Haikou Wanlv Park.

Sanya: Sanya Phoenix International Airport, Sanya High-Speed Railway Station.
